There are some simple flashcard review-type games, good for vocab and verb tense; some practice reading skills, others listening. Students can access the site on their own to build skills. Noticed one or two typos for a couple of flashcard sets, but in general, most offered good practice activities

AIM program - Monsieur Dit
Hello wiki people!

This is Monsieur Hedlin, the Grade 5-7 French teacher from Linden Christian School. I use the AIM program in my classroom almost exclusively. One of my favourite games to use with AIM is "Monsieur Dit" which is just an adaptation of Simon Says.


One of the fun versions that I like to play with my class is I get them to line up in four rows facing me, like this:

As long as they do "SIMon SAys" the right way, then they stay in their position. But if they make a mistake, then they have to go to the back of the line (like an assembly line). Whoever ends up the closest to me at the end of the game (the four students in the front row) wins and gets a candy.

Do you guys have any other ideas for how to play "Simon Says"? It obviously can be done with "Les Partis Du Corps" (body parts) too, but I do it with the AIM gestures.
